Hi I'm a newbie! Question lang po are generic batteries like BP 511 are built with good quality? Will it last same battery life as the original one?

and for the cost, you can prolly buy 2 batteries for the price of 1 original. and ive heard people say that they last longer than the originals too....

i dont think you can destroy your camera by putting them in there anyway just as long as they dont spew out nasty stuff i guess hehehe

in my experience, i've been using both generic batts and the orig ones for more than a year and a half now in wedding shoots... so far, no unusual deterioration of power yet for both...
