Coming off a fun and exciting event last month at our DPP CHILLIN' event at the Marriott, it is my pleasure to announce DPP VI, the Anniversary Party. For those of you who have attended in the past, you can expect more of the same but with improvements. Expect more LECTURES and a bunch of new and interesting LIVE SHOOTS and Activities.

For those of you new to our Anniversary Party, we probably put together the most fun and interesting photography event in the country. Expect a full day's worth of photography. By the time you night is over, you will have learned new techniques from our local masters and made new photography friends. Its a crazy and fun day.

And guess what? IT'S FREE. Yes, I said it correctly, the event is FREE for every photographer to attend. In the past years, a purchase of DPP magazine would be required to attend our event. This year that requirement is no longer necessary. DPP VI is a pure open event. However, we will treat our loyal readers with something special. In our next issue of DPP, there will be an Ad of DPP VI that can be cut out. If you bring the cut out to DPP VI, you become a premium attendee which means you will be given a special registration line, priority seating, drinks (let me lock in that sponsor first), and entitles you to our RAFFLE where you can expect accessories and cameras to be given away. Walk-in attendees won't be given the privilege.

We have confirmed most of the activities and speakers for this years' event already but still have to polish off the final schedule. I can assure you that the Lectures and LIVE SHOOTS are unlike any other that we've done. I believe we already put on the best photography show, but wait till you see what we have in store for you all this year.

Issue 44 will be the one. We are just waiting to for our ad materials then it goes to printer. Magazine is already finished.

Are there no freebies for loyal subscribers?

There should be an extra incentives for long time subscribers different for those who only buy one issue for every anniversary that DPP held. Maybe productive token of something from sponsors that will do to make us excited to renew our subscription every year. Kindly put a difference from loyal subscribers versus seasonal readers of DPP hehehe.

I hope DPP subscribers can reserve slots/register to lectures online. Now that the event is free, people need to be at BGC around 6am in order to secure a seat at the lectures.
