Attention all DPP members and fellow photographers. I just came from a meeting with KLM executives and we just finalized KLM ON ASSIGNMENT 2012. If you liked what we did last year, this year will even be more special. All the mechanics and details will be finalized by Saturday, May 26 and will be formally launched in our DPP VI Anniversary.

If you want the opportunity to travel to Europe this year and shoot for the Lonely Planet and also be featured in a piece on DPP, then monitor this thread. This is a contest unlike any other.

Help us spread the word too. Stay tuned and I'll be updating on this thread over the next month.

Joel and Christian being the alumnus of the first KLM ON ASSIGNMENT will help us judge the event this year.

We announced a bit early this year because there is more planning to do. The Assignment responsibilities will be similar, but how you get to be selected will be different. We'll announce full mechanics on or before the official launch date of May 26.

For those of you new to DPP, monitor this thread and you'll see quickly why this could possibly be the best contest in the country.
