For me the most spectacular and creative float would be that of Laoag, Ilocos Norte. Their models made purely from tobacco leaves and garlic (the province's produce)

waaaah! i got my dates mixed up and found out by 230pm that it was last saturday and not next week, too late already to shower and travel from las pinas. probably written on the wall that this year was not to be.

i like the garlic and tobacco float, sayang this year would have resulted in many keeper shots. i see bro roland had a good time. i hope the wife is already recovered.

Melo, change your 2011 calendar (joke). Yap, I had a good time eventhough it was a sweltering 36 degrees C! Had to "gobble" up around 10 liters of mineral water and some orange juice along the way. But its worth it. No amount of heat and Sun can stop Pentaxians like Sri and Ptr. Bong from getting colorful photos. But wait, where are your pictures, Sri?
