you got that right! what was i thinking using facebook images?! The last photo (mussels) was uploaded via flickr and the difference is very noticeable. i guess i have to relive my flickr acct then.

Thanks Ruel! Normally I shoot using only 1 light + umbrella since I do it on location and I'm just too stubborn to carry around a lot of light stands for a shoot. If I'm feeling good that day, I add a 2nd light for fill, if not I just add a reflector and some mirrors for fill and highlights. But if there's available light which most of the time isn't there, then I use it + again a reflector and some mirrors.

And the model "chick" is now a "chicken" and she's perfectly roasted!

This was shot during the Power of Pen 3 - Food Writing Workshop last July 2011. I was asked to judge participants work for the food photography workshop along with Sir Mark Floro and I decided to take a go at it as well for fun and souvenir since the food is really really tempting and just waiting there to be photographed.

I was thinking what I ate for breakfast last weekend and noticed I was eating too much eggs. sunny side up last saturday and scrambled eggs yesterday so I was thinking of posting a photo of an omelette but then I saw this in my archive which is a recipe made with eggs but with a twist and is aiming towards people with a sweet tooth! I can't seem to find my actual photo of the dish, maybe its in my other computer so I'll post this instead!
