Olympus XZ-1 vs Panasonic LX5

I was in the same situation before. After browsing through 90+ Flikr pages of both XZ-1 and LX5, I went with the Panasonic. There's more landscape shots using an LX5.

The LX5 sees wider at 24mm

more available accessories from filter mounts to adapters

with the firmware update, the longest long exposure of a P&S (240 secs or 4 minutes!)

I guess the decision lie in what your subject matter interests are. For landscape, still shots and macro, LX5 will have an advantage. People and others will be XZ1 though LX5 is no slouch in this area as well.

@Gil - Actually I want a general purpose camera that I can bring everyday. My plan is, if their will be a special event, I'll just bring my DSLR

@Oliver - thanks, question, 28mm vs 24mm would have a huge difference?
