Re: Bourne Legacy - Manila Location Shoot

Saw on primetime news tonight a local do a 5-meter jumping stunt from the roof of one house on the right and landing on the window grill of the house on the left across the alley. It was probably done this afternoon. When I was at that exact location early this morning, I gathered there would be a roof chase indeed. I missed that one.

When I was there, people were reinforcing the ground floor roofing of the house used.

    now what can we say?
hard to shoot in our country and other foreign land,

how about if I'm doing my own film?
how long and how many process of papers it will take? to make my 15 minutes film?
which carries my equipment and accessories?

I'm not in the business of filming but want to satisfaction of creating arts using our road?

Heard a flash report earlier that at about 5:30 AM this morning, a drunk policeman in civilian clothes nagwala (created a scene). When accosted by MMDA security, he brought out and brandished his service firearm and a scuffle ensued. Allegedly, he was trying to hassle a mestisa thought to be an actress near the set. He was eventually overpowered by police at the scene and brought to the nearest precinct.

That kind of behavior is why it's not more fun in Philippines. such shoots are magnets for publicity and any sort of rowdy behavior is magnified. drunkenness is no excuse especially for a law officer.

The fun part was when onlookers rushed to the scene thinking that the filming has started that early - only to find out about the rowdy, drunken off-duty cop who received all the booos and name-calling from the crowd as he was whisked-off to the precinct.
