Bit of Humour in Food Photography

Mods please delete if you feel this is offensive.

Just fond of creating, innovating, cutting costs of recipes and cook/style them myself.
    Below...
Gin Goolash Con Baghip Y Vigalo ( Ginisang Gulay May Bagoong-Hipon at Vigan Longaniza)
    PINAKBET...my style.

Re: Bit of Humour in Food Photography

Posted this in the forum: Post your KIT-LENS shot here!!!
Can't help but need to show what my dinner was last night.
Shot with 18-105mm kit lens on a D90.
Don't know how to play with colors. Just toned up clarity. The yellow tinge was due to incandescent bulb I used to light the subject.

I concocted the recipe, cooked and styled (is there a style?).
With steamed rice, "patis with labuyo" by the side and 1.5-liter cola...

    Behold...
    BOILAR BONEY-BONEY TINAMB GOOLASH

The title of this thread reminds me of Kyle Dreier's
    "Food Pairings Portfolio"
    http://www.dreierstudio.com/pairings/

These images can be viewed also in
"Food Pairings" - "Slick photos with a healthy dash of wit"
as published in the Popular Photography magazine, January 2012 Issue.

The images therein really bit my funny bones.

    Humor, anyone?

    Enjoy !!!
