hi bros! problem with this flash...

my friend bought this flash and used it on his Nikon d3000. when the flash is on 'M' mode and his camera is in 'Auto' setting or any other preset setting the on-cam flash is still popping out.

Tried it on my D90 too and had the same problem. How do we fix this? sorry for the noob question. Thanks

because it is a manual flash, it should not be used in AUTO mode

i think it is better to get a flash that was made for your camera, for your peace of mind

and if something goes wrong in using low end flash,i'm sure i cant afford the repairs either.

I bought one about 4 days ago and have used it on my d40 and d5000 bodies and it works great in manual mode. I plan to buy one or two more.

This is the first non-ttl flash i've used and it felt quite strange having to set the power level by hand at first. For the price a great way to learn multiple strobe set ups.
