just a question, since this lens is almost immune to flaring, what would be a reasonable filter to use? Hoya Pro1 Digital UV HMC Filter or Hoya Pro1 Digital Clear Protector HMC?
@ Redy, why would you use a UV Protector ? The front element is already deeply-recessed 2 inches without the hood on

that's what i thought but i still would like a glass protecting the front element from things that want to smash it.
maybe a clear filter would do?
i already got mine a few weeks ago,next time i will post my sample shot.
