already have one. ( MG5370 ) , it seems to print a tad darker but i guess my LED monitor fooling around.. maybe I will tweak the color settings.. Could I have a copy of your color profiles for MG5270 for comparison.. Thank you..

Please request the custom ICC profiles from Ace Porlet of Canon Marketing Philippines.

(BTW, we'll assume that your LED monitor has been calibrated and profiled accurately using something like a Spyder3 Express. All custom ICC profiles for printing are useless if your LED monitor is inaccurate.)

The print isn't too dark. It's your LED monitor that is too bright

I will try to calibrate my LED monitor, I don't have a spyder3 Express but eying on having one , I relied on Windows 7 Monitor Calibration , Thank you for the heads up, my MG5370 was my first investment on printing equipment I hope I can attend your seminar on the 15th , maybe it will open up more possibilities and learning how to use my PIXMA Printer

I used to think that I was getting good results before I started to use a Spyder. I discovered after I got the Spyder that I could get the my screen and prints to match a lot closer. But I really got great results when I started to study basic color management.

Please get a Spyder and/or come to the free seminar on September 15.

Yes, I've used both the iP4970 and MG5370.

Same color gamut and performance as their predecessors. They just have upgraded features

I prefer Pixma for speed and versatility of paper choices.

I prefer a Selphy because it represents fixed cost printing (that makes it easier to compute for capital, profit, etc.).
