Good Day DPP,
I'm photography enthusiast on a budget. I've had my 2nd hand canon 350d for 2 years now. It still works great even though I'm really pushing the actuations. My dilemma is this:
I have my eye set on two things. 1) 40 or 50d body and 2) a 70-200 f2.8 lens for my aspirations as a sport and portrait photographer.
Which should I prioritize? Buying a new body or buying a new lens?
I'm trying to rationalize that buying the lens should come first since being a good photographer means you can work with any body. Furthermore, the lens will better satisfy my need for the particular kind of photography I'm after. A good body would be a bonus in that sense.
Am I on the right track? If there is already a similar thread in this forum, I'd much appreciate it if you point me in the right direction. Thank you in advance.
