i am a proud owner of a beautiful 85 1.2 lens. I am not sure though how much it goes for. All I can say is that it is worth every cent it costs.

Hi Pilar, Thanks for the info. Just bought a 50mm 1.2L. . . I find the focusing in 85mm1.2L smoother (fluid) compare to my 50mm 1.2L. Both lens are using USM ring right. Maybe you can give some inputs. Thanks.

I don't wanna be a measurebator when discussing photography with you, but how do you find the corners when shot at 1.2 - was there any reason to be bothered?

I don't have the 50 1.2 so I really cant make a comparison. But the 85 is smooth when it focuses. (it weighs a ton though...especially with the 5d)
