C&C A Mysterious smile (Close up portrait)

    Dear All,

He seems to know something you don't and mocks you with that smile...

This shot was taken with the model's face illuminated by light from the south window of the house.
I used burn and dodge on his eyes.
I think I blew up the highlights on his face a little bit.

    Grateful for comments and critiques.

Yes, you blew the highlights on his face especially on the left side. Too much processing on the eyes Sir, I think there's something unusual with his eyes :-( I don't know if it's just me. You can also remove the scars on his right face.

    Cheers!

Was this shot in Manual mode? The metering is off.

Anyway, yes, the highlight is clipped and the skin tone is unnatural (yellow cast). The shot is too tight.

    Hi All,

Thank you for the comments/critiques. Much appreciated.

@Cocoy Lopez: This was shot in manual mode. Regarding the skin color, I'm gonna slap myself in the forehead right now as I just discovered that my color tone setting was set to maximum all the time I was shooting, which explains the very yellow color. Argh!

@Renfaustino: Sir, hehe. yep I used the old school macro lens for this one.

    Thanks and regards,
    Robbie
