SQ2. I never envisioned it to take on another dimension -- that of advocacy/altruism.

As you may recall, I posted a call for help at: http://www.digitalphotographer.com.p...ad.php?t=20492. Many a DPPer came to fore and responded to the call -- via posts, PMs, email, and actual presence.

I also created website to chronicle the events (I'll soon update this) at joyinchrist.wordpress.com

Lately, medicines and medical supplies have been flown in from the US. This thread partly documents the eventes that ensued.

As it happened, the trip was mostly about delivering the box of medicines.

Thanks to Miguel Vecin and Hugo Bonilla of the LBC group for helping out on the delivery of the box. The box of medicines and medical supplies came all the way from Kentucky and LA. I had wanted to get a local (in Marinduque) LBC person to show up in the photo, but all their reps were busy delivering boxes and parcels during that day.

As expected, the family proceeded to open the box. Lots of medical stuff that are not even available locally.

Thanks to the officers, staff, and consultants of the Dermatology Section of the Regional Institute of Tropical medicine, for adding more gifts (antibiotics, toys, gauzes, etc) and conveying their love.

.... anyway, Sir dan, regarding your Southern Quest, do you actually conduct this in south luzon? curious lang since I'm from quezon province... willing to join one of your quest, sort of giving back and in a way put more value in this hobby of mine...
