It's not, I have an officemate whose Benro was just sprayed with seawater, and the nuts and bolts of his tripod had rust all over it.

The moment your benro tripod was exposed to saltwater (be it accident or not) just simply was it away with tap water so you can flush away the minerals that can corrode it.

Are CF's really that sturdy? The price is almost twice that of Aluminun counterparts, the weight reduction is only about half pound, Please advise.

    Thank you

The corresponding aluminum version has the same number but has the letter "A" up front.
Sir, where did you buy yours? Aperture only has the c069 model. i'm looking for this tripod series. thanks.

Tried this from Apperture, quite flimsy, they said they suggest this for P&S but taken the price of P990 (cash), its quite fine if you'll just use it for LE wherein you dont need to move too far away from your setup for assurance. you may use it as flash stand in the future. Still better than having to place your camera in awkward places such as table tops. but its just me.
