    4. press and hold the shutter
    5. use the blower

return the lens or body cap afterward. make sure you keep the blower in a dust free environment. I think 1,250 is a better investment than buying your own cleaning kit and cleaning the sensor yourself, less risk.

yup its better investment ! now its dust free no more irritating Dust bunnies.

Edwin I think you should go to menu and lock the mirror. then press shutter no need to go to m mode and bulb shutter. then remove lens after cleaning turn off the camera place the lens in place again.

Now I know what I missed out the Blower I don't keep it in a dust free environment! no wonder when I blow it put more dust on it. But what I am wonder even how strong the blow is. Sensor dust won't move.

So best I leave it to the technicians in cleaning my sensor

    Pj,

Which settings? picture control? PSAM settings? I suggest you read this article:

    http://kenrockwell.com/nikon/d90/users-guide/index.htm

I find his articles helpful, just a little too biased/unfounded sometimes. HTH
