Looks like they finally updated this great alternative to the Canon L and Nikon Pro glass. And with full time manual focussing too! True HSM! D40/x/60 users must be real excited over this one. I just wish they made the filter size a standard 77mm... 82mm filters ain't cheap.

oh my oh my oh my, ive been waiting for this one....i wish the price is not that far from its older brother. and i wish this will be available before sinulog 2009.

if they decreased the filter size to 77mm this lens would really be a big hit...still is too bulky for a mid-range zoom lens
