    how about EB camp? ^_^
    DPP RULE SEVEN
If someone is asking for a photo critique, don’t respond “Nice shot” if you cannot say anything more about the photo. Praise should be backed up with reasons. Criticisms should be done constructively. Nothing is more irritating than having to sit through hundreds of posts that have no value...

    - Meeting new friends, widen your network
    - I agree that a C&C should always follow an EB shoot, so we can all learn from each other and at the same time improve in this craft.

True, I remember during the early years of emails/internet, the old ph-photo forum/group organized an EB at Shangri-la EDSA and it was a total success! Why? All topics are on compositions, how-to's, how to improve pictures I took and getting-to-know the photographer. Rarely are camera models mentioned. We had lots of fun. But the following EBs, it became, "this is my latest DSLR/gear, what's yours?" "Mine costs P100,000.00 and look at my L-lens" The people with only point and shoots/analog cameras were isolated and it spelled doom for the succeeding EBs

Buying a camera doesn't make you a photographer. It makes you a camera owner.

    Re: EB expectations

A photography, Lighting and photoshop workshop from Pros would do ^_^

Oh! and something like the Cool Hats of South shooters last christmas party is nice. maybe it would be a lot easier to remember fellow DPPers that way.
