Finally had a chance to go birding at Mt. Palay-palay. I'm not so happy with the shots but I was quite fulfilled since it was the first time to see these species. I had to leave early and left Tina Mallari to go and hit the jackpot of a spot where they saw 20 or so Hornbills! I can't wait to see her pics, but these are mine:

Thanks Ruel. Mt. Palay-palay is in Cavite. It covers the area of Puerto Azul and Caylabne Bay resorts.
Thanks Romy! The falconet was indeed very photogenic. I have many other "profiles" of that endearing endemic.

WHOAAAA TJ, that Philippine Falconet shot is amazing !!!!! You should send it to Ate Lyds for the 2nd Philippine Bird Festival photo display of endemic birds :)

I really had fun with you guys. We left Mt.Palay-Palay around 4:00pm na but we really had the time of our lives because of those hornbills and more brahminy kites that seem to be shouting ... Take our picture ! Take our picture !

We really missed having you with us when all those birds showed up.
