Cosina announces new lenses in the K-mount (as well as Nikon).

Well, will it cost low or it will cost us an arm and a kidney?=) Hope they answer the need of pentax K mount lenses.=)

$450 each. I still like the DA40/2.8 better I think. It's smaller, cheaper, and has AF hehe.

I got an email from Chiif yesterday. He is an authorized distributor of Voigtlander cameras/lenses in Singapore. The Nokton 58mm f/1.4 and the Ultron 40mm f/2 (with hood) is SGD580. Stocks will arrive mid-December. The Ultron is a bit more expensive than the DA 40mm and MF only, but film-camera compatible and faster by a stop. Still, a pancake is a pancake! :) Tempting offerings from Voigtlander/Cosina!

The DA40 is film camera compatible. Though you have the issue of aperture control if you don't have an auto aperture camera hehe. :D

Wala e. The only ones available in his shop are the:

a. CV Apo-Lanthar 90mm f/3.5 SL (Nikon AIS mount) - SGD460
b. CV Apo-Lanthar 180mm f/4 SL (Nikon AIS mount) - SGD500

I am also being seduced by the Voigtlanders, particularly the Bessa R2M and the Ultron 35mm f/1.7... then again, I am also eyeing the Ricoh GR Digital II with the 28mm f/2.4 fixed lens. Aargh. Gear lust!

Parang mahal yan a, at 34k exclusive of taxes. The 125mm f/2.5 falls between the two I mentioned, although it's faster by a stop. The 180mm is just roughly 15k. Hmm, I wonder what's the actual SRP of the 125mm...

Unfortunately, the SL I series, in which all these 3 macro lenses are part of, is being phased-out in favor of the new Cosina-Zeiss lenses. It's hard as it is to get these Voigtlanders, and soon it will be a lot harder. Bakit kasi walang distributor ang Cosina dito. :Angry:

@francis: The price I quoted was from the Malaysian site. While at B&H, they're selling for about 30k... If it was only about 15k too, I'd be shooting with it right now! hahaha...:) I read that the SRP of the 125 is about $925...
