Used to be... But it's such a pain. :) Cannot compose well, so now the second body stays in the bag as backup or snugged in a minibag in what I call: "Batman's Utility Belt"... :D

Jon,
I am a slinger all the way. But I used a modified strap. The wide canon straps are not conducive to proper use of 2 or more cameras. They get in the way. Slinging on camera strap is a NO-NO! Try moving and switching to the other camera, and you the camera on the shoulder strap can slide off your shoulders!
I use my old Nikon thin straps and make them adjustable to be narrower or wider on the neck once they are in. I also put a stainless clip at the end of the strap so I can attach or detach the camera easy. The clip the same clip I use for securing the dog to its chain (I have a pit bull) so I know it won't be flimsy and can hold it well. I put the stainless metal ring on the camera for the clip to attach to.
Because I can adjust the width of the strap, I can also put it on my shoulder without the strap sliding off the shoulder. The camera are also apart that they don't bump into each other even if I let go off both cameras.
This also allows me to shoot overhead without getting 2 straps entangled even if there are 2 straps are on my neck. Try using the Canon straps and raise the camera overhead and you will see how the straps get in each other's way. At worst, I can even detach the camera easily and do overhead shots, or hand the camera to another photographer. No need to remove the entire strap off my neck. I only need to unclip it. I bet if I had 3 cameras, it would still be workable. It might just be a tad heavier having 3 cameras and lenses, but it is usable.
The reason for a 2 camera use is that I have the wide angle on one camera and the mid-to-tele zoom on the other w/c allows me to shoot either FL without swapping lenses and missing shots due to the lens changes. In a processional, for example, you can have wide angle shots and mid-to-tele shots easy. No lens swapping required. It's as easy as dropping one camera and picking up the other.
If you have 2 dlsrs, leaving one in the bag especially during the actual ceremony seems a waste. You have a perfectly useable bodies that can be useful in the field. It's not just lens changes. If one body's CF is running full and there is still some action going on, you can quickly switch to the other and keep on shooting, even if it is a wide angle lens. Then just change CF on the other camera when there is a lull between scenes. The system is so flexible, my friends are copying it.

Naks naman! One of my favorite wedding photographers now carries 2 cams. Hehe. Didn't you used to just carry only one? Hay, we'll need to work out our abs to reduce the back pain eh? :D
Just so I don't go off topic: Yes, I also carry 2 cams. One photographer (I forgot) coined it as "Ninja" style. I guess since ninjas carry two blades as opposed to samurais.
Mel explained it very well. Similarly, I use a wide angle zoom and a tele-zoom on two bodies. This is for 2 reasons: (1) I enjoy the back pain afterwards :D... nah, I'm just kidding. Seriously, I shoot alot of candids and I don't want to miss a shot fumbling around changing lenses, and (2) Technically, the less frequent lenses are changed in open environment, the less prone to dirt settling on the sensor.
That said, carrying 2 cameras in a wedding and having a terrible backpain afterwards does get me thinking about doing sit ups and mid section exercises more often. That must account for something. :)

3 cameras during weddings. The 3rd one is used for available light photography with either a fisheye lens or a f/1.4~f/2 lens.

Not only a dual slinger here... sometimes triple pa nga eh (just like jerrytieng). But I wouldn't call it slinger since I don't carry them all at the same time around my neck; that will not be convenient and effective anymore when you shoot, particularly with Minolta lenses that are notably "heavier" compared to other lenses. The Lowepro Off-Trail series prove to be worthy in this case... I pull-out the cam that I would use while the 2nd and 3rd cams remain in their holsters ready to be pulled out anytime (just like having two cowboy guns on the left and right holsters)... BUMUNOT KA at IPUPUTOK KO!
