nap_alcedo 09-01-2006, 04:53 PM Hi guys,
I was testing my 17-55 f2.8 last night while my residents were doing a major surgery and I was quite impressed by the lens. Anyway, I would like to post some shots but it might be offensive to some people. I don't know, but are we allowed to post pictures showing bowels, blood, severed limbs, or in a sense, pictures with "shock value" here?
I am just curious because for most of you, this area is not accessible , and maybe this is the only way for you to see these.:)

Nick Tuason 09-01-2006, 05:16 PM Now this is what I call a classic request!
I spent the other night at the ER because my little boy fell and the underside of his chin. Required eleven stitches to fix up. I watched the doctor sew him up in the ER and my stomach was turning just seeing the needle go through his skin.
Nap I'm glad you asked first before posting. But if you don't mind, I'd rather not have those photos posted here. Don't think my stomach could take it.

anton montilla 09-01-2006, 05:38 PM Nap,
Just incase you want someone else to see it, for what ever it's worth, I'd be willing to see them :) I'm very curious to see them. At least with the sharpness :)
pm me if your willing... I will send you my email.
Francis Tuason 09-01-2006, 05:44 PM i would be willing to see them too... i guess we would be in a parallel field... as i am a physicist... but all i saw when i worked in a hospital are x-ray negatives...
Amiel_Mercado 09-01-2006, 05:55 PM nap, will you post them on your flickr? I did see some photos there.
nap_alcedo 09-01-2006, 10:02 PM Ok. I will post them in my Flickr account. Don't worry, it's not that gruesome. It's just that the majority of colors are red. I will inform you guys once I am able to post it na.
Thanks Nick. I know it's not for the faint hearted. I have seen medical students fall flat in the OR once they see the operative field. It takes time to adjust to the scene.
