Still a newbie in PP
I just wanted to get some feedback on my PP. I Hope others would post theirs too. There are a lot of styles/techniques in PP but what I'm aiming at is:
"enhancing the image while still staying as close as possible to the original"
Or I guess the aim basically is to "not overdo it", getting good results while still maintaining the "natural" look of the image. The kind that makes people think whether its "photoshopped" or not.
Any tips on how I can improve will be greatly appreciated.

Not an expert, but if you plan to make it "close to original" as you planned, making the subject stand out that much from the rest of the scene makes it really obvious that it's altered.
But if we're just talking about the subject herself, the work is pretty clean and natural :)
To push it further, I'd clone out the small portion of her ear sticking out of her hair, make her gums less dark (heavy smoker?), less eye catchlight/reflections/sharpening and PP off the stray hair strands.
The "crystal eye" look is getting too common, especially if shot indoors since there shouldn't be that much available light for the eyes to reflect on.
Just my 2C :)

Dang! I knew I forgot something (part of the ear sticking out)
For the background, I'm afraid to admit I overdid it a little (or a lot). I added a bit more blur to the background and I guess desaturating it also was a bit too much. Playing around with the background did make the subject stick out too much.
My first try at the glassy eyes
Its on a separate layer, I actually lowered the opacity at 40%. I guess there was enough "gloss" on the eyes to begin with. Need to work more on the details (stray hair and stuff). I'm also having a bit of a dilemma with the gums (I have no idea how to fix this), help!
Thanks for the comments :)

Bro, I notice the enhancements. Saturation and sharpness of textures are with in normal range (basing on my monitor). One thing to make some finesse... Work out on her mouth. My treatment would be by smoothening out her lips and lightening up her gums. My 2 cents!

-- looking at the AFTER , no second thoughts ...PP done ( buth nicely done though). regarding the gums ... i think masking it and "unsaturating" will do the trick. that's how i whiten my teeth. just type the keyword in "youtube" ...you'll find a demo there. gudluck.
