how come nobody mentions this "great" lens..? any thoughts from owners?

I think there was mention of this on the 50-500 hsm "BIGMA" thread

Either this lens and the Bigma are my next telephoto lens purchase in the years to come (hopefully).

Looks like this is a great lens that can auto-focus in the D40/x and also has OS much like Nikkors VR. Go for it guys, didn't see this before in Sigma's lineup. A welcome addition to anyone's wishlist like me.:)
