I wonder how it would be now that there's over 60... Anyway, you check the service center listings HERE (http://digitalphotographer.com.ph/forum/showthread.php?t=6567). Emmanuel Deoferio 05-01-2008, 01:19 PM I have a Pentax Optio P&S from the US and it needs servicing. I've gone through the list as indicated in the link posted here. I've tried Sanly in North EDSA and they always refer me to Sta.Cruz. Do you know of any place where I can drop off my Pentax and they in turn send it to Sta.Cruz so that I dont have to go to Manila, preferably in QC or even Makati. Thanks guys! bongmanayon 05-01-2008, 01:58 PM I have a Pentax Optio P&S from the US and it needs servicing. I've gone through the list as indicated in the link posted here. Cruz shop, I think, is Super East (aka Camerahaus). I would not know if Camerahaus branches (there's one in SM North and another in Glorietta--QC and Makati!) would received your Optio or if they'll tell you to go to Sta. Cruz too, but it would not hurt to ask. Emmanuel Deoferio 05-01-2008, 02:16 PM Reading through the posts here I'm also thinking about that. Thanks Bong hope they could do that. :) marlon ordonez 05-01-2008, 03:06 PM Camerahaus' mall branches accept items for repair, and send these to their Binondo office - this adds about a couple of weeks to the turnaround time, since they apparently only collect/deliver items once a week. I've had my DS repaired by them under warranty - worked well - about 3a -week wait. Sanly, I believe, only accepts items for repair at their main (Cubao) branch - and sends these to Japan for the actual repair. I've had my 50-200mm done by them - 2-month turnaround. My K10D is currently with them (tilted horizon) - I believe it'll be another couple of months waiting as well. Hope this helps.... Emmanuel Deoferio 05-01-2008, 03:14 PM Thanks Marlon! Yes, it really helps. :) jefferdeguzman 05-03-2008, 08:12 AM I noticed that my k100d super's AF points are not aligned where can i have this calibrated? here's what it looks like but mine is more on the right side http://www.geocities.com/ricehigh/K100D/K100D_Finder_AF_Red_Dots_Animated.gif Handy_To 05-04-2008, 02:17 AM Hi Guys, Do they accept K10D bought from abroad? Paeng Bonafe 05-09-2008, 06:58 AM to all k10d users, any of you experience any FF or BF problems? especially with non-DA lenses? i plan to have mine serviced. thanks! Franz A.D. Morales 05-09-2008, 12:13 PM @Paeng: Me. I experience BF issues with the Vivitar 28/2.8... however, Pentax won't fix this since it's not a Pentax lens... though my other lenses are fine... I think... noliperfecto 05-09-2008, 02:18 PM Hey Guys, check out this thread over at DPreview - BF/FF adjustment through USB: http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1036&message=27855376 So, who's going to be first to try it? |
