Hi Anderson, would you consider a change of venue that is midway? Banawe is quite far to travel to on a weekday and I have a feeling more people can make it if the venue is more central.

Hello! If I'm not mistaken...it'll be on the 29th of September upto the 1st of October! :)

darn, my meetings just finished. hope to hear what was discussed during the meeting from those who attended and thanks in advance for the update.
hope it was a good one.

Just came from the meeting and a lot of issues were brought up and Columbia Digital says they will try to address all the issues as soon as possible.

Most important point is the improvement of their camera servicing. They have invested in more tools and equipment for servicing. And all servicing will now be centralized to their head office, and they advise all Nikon users to have all their servicing done there.

As for the sale items, nothing much of interest.

18-55mm
28-80mm (i think)

The other lenses are more on AI lenses na daw.

To all Nikon users... Changes may come in the next couple of months... These handful of men may have sparked that start of change on how Nikon Philippines does its business practices...

It was nice seeing you guys in the flesh last night. For those who are eager to know what is in store for us Nikonians, all I can say is this... it was worth sticking it out with Nikon even if during my time of purchase their service had a very bad reputation to say the least. Now, suffice it to say that good times will be here again. Mabuhay tayong lahat.

I've heard that deliveration on whether to service grey units or not is on going. I hope grey units can have the same quality service as legit units can. What can differ is their priviledges. Like a grey units can have higher service cost.. afterall, grey or not, it is still a NIkon...

Darn day time work... it really gets in the hobby's way. :D

Last night's meeting went really well. We got to discuss things with Sir Anderson, JR and Ramil. Let's just wait for Sir Anderson to post what was talked about last night. It was great seeing all the Nikon users last night! :)
