Hi guys,

I have a website here (http://www.f3mphotography.com). If you guys have time maybe you could take a look into it and maybe offer some suggestions/advice on how I could make it better, more sellable. My wife said it's "ok, but not very sellable." So if I could not sell it to my wife, how could I sell it to other people. We are thinking of hiring some flash programmers there in the Philippines to do the the thing for us, but as of now, since we're just starting (not enough money coming in, a lot of money going out) html and php will have to do. By the way, I am a Java programmer by day, but not a lot on the front-end, more in the middle-tier (business side).

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Marco

I'll try to brainstorm Marco and tell you what I can come up with later. :)

Your website look nice. I like the colors.

Try to improve your text on FAQ. For example,
So you only cover weddings in that part of NJ?

Of course not. We would go anywhere in NJ just to cover your wedding.

This doesn't sound friendly to me.

Maybe, you can say "We would love to go to any part of NJ to cover your wedding."

You may put your simpleviewer to frames, so you don't lose the links or open it in new window.

Thanks Mr. Dino! I guess the reason you like the colors is because both your website (http://www.dinolara.com/) and mine are using almost the same color  .

Mr. Earl told me that I need to have my color in the same tonality as my logo... and I guess that makes sense too.

I will try to incorporate any feedback I get from this thread towards a better website.

Guys, please don't be afraid to hit me/hurt me... if that's the way I can improve, then so be it. Constructive criticism is the best way to learn.

Thanks!

Marco

You'll be fine Marco... Take things slow but work fast... :)

hi marco,

i made a brief look at your site (main, gallery, news) and got lost particularly the consistency of the pages. i like the look of the blog/news but too corporate to be a wedding site. the color scheme of the main page is nice (and the photos of course) but by looking at it, there's too many typefaces used. try to reorganize the links as well. as for the gallery, i like the classic look of it (im using simpleviewer as well :)). if you can incorporate the designs into one, that would be nice.

hth and best regards,

jeff
