It was a busy weekend for Ateneo Athletics. While all eyes were on the Ateneo Men's game against UST last Sunday, there were other sporting events on-going as well. The Women's and Juniors Basketball games, taekwondo, lawn tennis, and chess just to name a few.
I was able to cover the last day of the UAAP Swimming Competition in Trace College in Los Baņos. This was the same site for the 2005 SEA Games Swimming Events, and the facilities were top-notch.
The Ateneo Boy's Team won 1st place, for a Three-peat, garnering 300 points. That's the first time a team ever scored that much. The women's team came in 2nd, and the Men's came in 4th, missing the 3rd spot by only 5 points.
