Strobe: Inon Z-240
First time to use the Inon lens and strobe. Sorting out how to make photos sharper and of course learn composition. Tips welcome...

Lactoria Comuta - Cow fish, taken on a night dive at Basura, Anilao, Mabini, Batangas. This one was very playful. I have a red focus light on my strobe, he/she was so curious and kept on coming on to the red light.

Thanks! Practice lang. It was first time to take out new toy. Getting used to it and knowing what settings and exposure to use.

Thank you. It was my first out using a macro lens and an external strobe. still getting the hang of it.

I'm just kidding, the angler fish are also the type of fish, that chase Nemo and Dory on the Very deep water that has light on the front...I never see one yet either,by the way how deep when you see them?:)

:Grin: no worries... The Anglers from the deep have lights... I had to google that since you asked!
I've been lucky, the yellow one on the photo is a juvenile. Stays at 7-12meters deep. I want to keep on going back for it to get a really good shot.:Dum:

Last weekend at Mainit, Anilao, Batangas.
Sad to say, some ship dumped bunker oil near the dive sites. I hope they catch them and send them to jail :(

Am sure it's also great diving there.... Maganda din daw sa South Africa, Tiger shark dives!!!:RedEye:

Impressive, colorful 'catch'. Adding the scientific names make them educational as well.
BTW, if my memory serves me right I think that it was also in Anilao, Batangas where Jeffrey De Guzman took his macro image of a shrimp's head which won for him 1st Place in Popular Photography magazine's "Your Best Shot" contest last November 2009.
