The first looks to be Euphonia laniirostris - a male. Pic 2 and 4 are Gould's Finches. The third is some kind of female Nectarinid.

Very nice shots Jim. I like very much the "flock of birds" photo. Sorry I'm also not familiar with bird names. Well maybe because of photography i will be hooked on bird watching also.

Just the other day i took some photos from a bird park here in KL. It's like a forrest reserve within the city. These birds are not exactly caged but the park is enclosed by a huge net. That's why i have not posted these photos in Tina's thread coz hers was for true, blue wild birds :-)

I hope you don't mind me sharing the following photos.

Very nice captures indeed Edilbert. The first I think is a Cattle Egret in breeding plummage but can't help on the second.
