Guys not quite happy with the wideness of the 18-70 would have loved to have the 12-24 so i decided to experiment and try monochromatic hdr. defintely looks better than the orig pic. CS2 is soo mind boggling

Nice shot Carlo!

Here's the outside, using the 10-22. I also used CS2 to fix the perspective.

Great shots, carlo and dave. I don't use my 10-20 a lot of the time but I'm sure glad I have it when I find that I need a little bit more wa coverage than the 18-70 can provide. So, how do you go about getting one of these so called "permits"?

gio, see the lighted door just below the center of the photo of san agustin? that's where you'll find the cashier who charges PhP1000 for the ruins permit or the church balcony permit... unless adjustments have already been made these days

dave and carlo, lovely shots! oh how i wish i had my kit lens back, hehehe... that was the only wide i had before kasi at naisama pa sa binenta kong 300D :BlackEye:... have to scout for a new and better wide-angle lens na talaga ...

Bry, thanks for that info. Is there a lot of worthwhile photo ops in there? If there are, I might just go ahead and get that permit on my next trip back.

Nice photo Dave... there's this eerie look to the church that's hard to describe. :)

gio, check out carl's message... never mind the previous post of the guy na pasmado ang kamay kaya dumadami ang zeroes ng supposedly PhP100 na i-type nya, hehehe... so ok, it's PhP150 as of 2 weeks ago oki?

with regards to ur query, yup, it's a nice place for photo ops... but i have only tried shooting at that place with it as background and about-to-get-married and just-got-married couples as subjects! hopefully one of these days if i'm not too busy with videos to edit, i might drop by the place again and capture its beauty with my cam...
