just got my k100d a total shift from my old pentax k1000 se

so anyone please give me tips and do's and dont's with k100d

im totally digging it!!! i love pentax.. actually in my our class, im the only one who uses a pentax

dont worry about the shutter life... just shoot til you cant move your arms anymore.. :P

As one fellow at DPR says in his signature: "My best lens is a tripod."

welcome to DPP. my tip: dont let go of your k1000 just yet.. :Grin: here, we still shoot film and some of us still have their film SLRs.. i have 2 k1000s.. :)

salutes sir.... yeah i wont let my k1000 go... not in a million years, i learned how to take pics in that camera.... having troubles with my lens though, its zenith lens and i think theres a little problem i get overexposed pics even if i checked the light meter many times....

I also want to take formal education in photography, but alas no time :(. I'm just playing around with the camera and asking the experts. :Grin:. pag may nabuo ayos, pag ala (better luck on the next roll) :Grin:.

i am taking up fine arts majoring in advertising arts in ust, im in 3rd year and we have photography class for 2 consecutive semesters.... but i started shooting 2 years ago, my brother taught my the basics, and now im learning new tips from my professor.... oh yeah i also tell myself that "goodluck sa next roll". one time we had a field trip in vigan and shockingly i had great shots then last summer we had a trip to bicol and i used 3 rolls of 36 exp and i just had few good shots..
so messing up with some shots inevitable

since mau's coming along on the 9th, join ka rin. we'll be glad to practice and answer your queries. you also have to see mau's camera bag that can take in a whole lot of things. one of a kind.
