these are some sites that explains the importance in doing an accurate color proofing.

http://www.gammag.com/Current/index.php?art=gam0606.remoteproofing
http://www.epson-europe.com/NewsDetail_record.html

even Kodak rides on epson's bandwagon, based on reports they scanned thru different brands for the best machine for their software, since they are also putting their name in the light of having accurate color proofs, Kodak Matchprint only works with epson and only epson.. maybe to preserve their integrity..

http://www.i-grafix.com/newzealand_printer/news.php/Kodak%E2%80%99s+Matchprint+Injet+Proofing+becomes+ 3DAP2+approved/4145

for more articles, uou can type "epson proof" in google. This only proves that when it comes to accuracy or contract proof, worldwide prefers epson brand.

yo can also try "HP proof" and "canon Proof" if you want.
