Hi guys! I'm planning to get one of these lenses? Can't decided ... need your advice...:)

simply get the Nikkor 70 to 200 f/2.8 vr

If you can afford the 70-200 VR, go for it. The lens lust will never stop. It's happening to me, and it's just been two months since I got the 80-200.

as the saying goes. get the best lens you can afford. if you have the budget, go for the 70-200. if you can't afford it, the 80-200 will not disappoint. i have an 80-200 and it's tops.

specially if you like low light captures and sports.. the AF-S helps A LOT! and the VR for hand holding the lens.

is twice the price really worth it just for the vr? but yeah if money were no budget id get the 70-200:)

Get the 70-200 Jake. The VR will come in handy... :)

On situations where VR is not required (shooting outdoor with adequate light, tripod and etc.) the 70-200 will not give you better images than the 80-200.

if you can live with the noise (when focusing) plus the weight then 80-200 is one hell of deal. same optics, color, sharpness and contrast at almost half of the price of its VR brother:).
