Opening today- Ang INK (Ang IIustrador ng Kabataan) at OWG
This month of August, the Illustrador ng Kabataan (InK) and One Workshop, Inc. brings to you fun-filled, art-filled activities for artists, illustrators, kids and the young at heart! Events that are so cool, you simple must not miss ‘em!
The exciting line-up of activities is as follows:
AUGUST 18, FRIDAY, 5pm
Opening ceremonies.
19 August, Saturday
- Kapihan. Join us for coffee & conversation on the art of picture
books. Bring with you an Ang InK-illustrated book. 2pm-4pm
23 August, Wednesday
- Introduction to illustrating for children plus portfolio critique.
For art students and professionals alike. 5pm - 7pm
25 & 26 August, Friday & Saturday
- Silent Auction. Now’s your chance to collect InK art executed by both
the country's top and up and coming illustrators! Bid in person,
or bid by text! Bidding starts at 10am on Friday, and closes
at 6pm on Saturday.
26 August, Saturday
-Rock Art Workshop. Fill your aquarium, garden, or table top
with your own hand-painted rocks. For kids 6 to 8 years old.
10am - 11:30am Fee: Php 300.00
- Mythical Hats Workshop. Turn paper into art for your head,
with a dose of creative magic! For kids 9 to 11 years old.
2pm - 3:30pm Fee: Php 300.00

The Ilustrador ng Kabataan (Illustrators for Children) -- is an association of artists committed to the creation and promotion of illustrations for children. InK was founded in June 1991, the offshoot of a Children's Book Illustration sponsored by the PBBY (Philippine Board on Books for Young People) and the Goethe-Institiute Manila which was conducted by visiting German book illustrator Reinhard Michl.
One Workshop Gallery is located at Ground Floor 2241 La Fuerza Plaza II, Don Chino Roces Avenue corner Sabio St., Makati City. (Walking distance from Magallanes MRT and Mazda Showroom)
