I was scanning thru the Digital Fine Art Forum and there wasnt any Digital IR Fine Art Thread. For me, IR Photography, even digital, is Fine Art too.

Please post your IR Fine Art Images. :)

Hi Errol, there are a lot of IR threads in the forum already, some colored, some monochrome, and some shot in film. You can just search for them with the following keywords: "IR" "Infra Red", "Infrared". :)

Cheers! :)

OT: how do you define fine art? what does it take for a photograph to be considered as a fine art per se?

for me, its a photo that means something to the photographer. a photo that lets you express yourself or communicate with the one viewing your work.

but thats just my opinion. :)

you can either use an ir filter or have you camera body converted to IR.

Deleted my photo, since it does not fall under the "IR Fine Art" category.

im seeing lots of infrared but not much of "infrared fine art."

"infrared snap shots," maybe.

thread started should define the thread, why he thinks the initial photos should be classified as "fine art." and how infrared should "infrared" be. i have a nice photo of legaspi park taken this afternoon as part of a series of infrared tests. can they be considered IR fine art? they're splendidly beautiful. i also have the same images in normal light, on which i could use an IR setting in lightroom - can i consider them as IR fine art too?

just want to keep further posts to this nice thread relevant to the title and intentions of the OP.
