Asian Spirit has an ongoing promo to Boracay its P1,950 one way per person. just saw it in the papers, maybe other airlines have a similar/better package for this "non-peak" season? PAL also has a package for 5 destinations in SEA: $250 all in: airfare, airport transfers, accomodations for Bangkok for example. just tossing these in.

How about a road trip to far north? We can go as far as Pagudpod and maybe an overnight at Vigan. Lots of photo ops along the way. :) I'd say you can't maximize your shooting at night in Corregidor because there are just a few places that you can have access and shoot.

I've been there before it was really awesome town. I think this is just a perfect venue for the 3rd EB there's a lot of subjects to tackle in that place and the people are nice too.:) another is The parola in calatagan area and its community.:)

I agree that the town would be a fantastic photo-op. A friend was there recently on a tour. Hanep daw. Lots of old houses/buildings. Photo friendly din yung mga tao. :)

Actually, a great place for photo ops is... Cambodia.
My friend is the son of the accountant of the ambassador to cambodia and he showed me pictures of not just angkor wat but he said that there were over 500 temples in cambodia :)

Just came from a photo shoot of Taal town/Caleruega. Here are some things we learned from that trip.

1. If you want to take pics of the people making balisong or itak, you have to do it early in the morning. They start early and end around lunch time. Hindi namin sila nakunan because it was last in our itinerary. Go to barrio gulok instead of barrio balisong.
2. Taal town roads are narrow. I suggest you park your cars at the Basilica then go around town by foot.
3. Ask a local tricycle driver to be your guide during the shoot.
4. For lunch, the best place is Taal Bistro. Mura na, masarap pa. Check out their bagoong!
5. In Caleruega, they don't allow groups to do photography specially if SLRs are used. You have to get a permit. But point and shoots are allowed. The guard will tell you: "Sir, bawal po mag frame up dito without a permit". Hahaha.

Duration: Arrive Taal Town approx 10am, shoot until 3-4pm, shoot Caleruega at around 530pm?

Food: Breakfast, Lunch and Merienda (The last time I was there, we just ate late lunch in Azotea: between Tagaytay and Taal.)
