Last night, the moon was full. Cloudy it maybe, the moon would show herself from time to time never revealing her face fully.

It was a perfect time for an impromptu photo op...and alas some of the friends were available.

We went to a perfect spot and started shooting, waiting till the moon show herself....

Unfortunately, the MOON and I never danced. Instead I had the NIGHT as my mistress.

This is a series of my favorite shots...entitled...

nice set. this spot in ccp complex is truly very popular. didnt issue #2 feature a shot from this place? but the last photo, i like a lot...because of the bangkero.

you shot in raw and tried every WB in the converter. tungsten is more often the best way to go.

galing! and keep at it. tonight looks dull. hopefully tomorrow will be better and she, luna, will be out dancing with you... :-)

Derick,

sure what shot? No PS here just the broder, watermark and cropping, no need na...the pic itself was almost perfect. I can email you the original file if you want.

Most of the shot was tken at ISO 100 Manual mode with aperture ranging from 9 to 11...

Jay,

thanks, didnt try using raw, per shot i change WB so i could see the effects immediately.

Thank you Edwin for candidly sharing that data. I'm impressed!:) Learning from people who generously share their technique endears me to forums like this. I like shot number 2. In fact, i've been to that place a number of times hoping to do the same. So I take it you shot in jpeg, varying the WB. Salamat partner!

try RAW sir. that topic has been discussed thoroughly. at the very least, you get to store your image according to what you saw, not what your cam's image processing algorithm thinks...

you can shoot RAW+jpg. or better, if you desire to see different WB effects, shoot in jpg for all the WB settings but secure at least 1 RAW frame. sa increase pa lang ng dynamic range and bit depth, you'll have more leeway to interpret your image later later in the RAW converter.

malapit ka lang ba sa area na ito? maybe we can shoot together one of these nights. i've also been waiting for clear skies and the full moon...shooting at midnight all over the area.....its a creepy thing to do alone! nakakatakot. dave d. even said he'll be packing silver bullets just in case...nyaha.

"post office" is striking and the way it was exposed is very original. love the way that a lot of the frame is subdued into darkness....
