You either need the Nikon NEF plug-in or the Adobe Camera RAW plug-in to installed first on your CS2 to be able to read Nikon's RAW files. You can download ACR on the Adobe website.

Nikon Capture hasn't been written to work on the intel macs yet. If you imported it in iPhoto, where is the file stored currently? In the iphoto lib? From CS2, you're navigating to the NEF file in the iPhoto library?

yeah thats what i figured, tried anyway bec a got a link from another forum stating that people have succesfully downloaded capture for their macbooks. here the link
http://support.nikontech.com/cgi-bin/nikonusa.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=14015
Downloaded it but when i tried opeing it it says, "there is no default application to open the document NC440.sit":)

the raw files are uploaded directly from the d70s into iphoto. i can see the raw files in iphoto but when i drag them into PS CS2 some of the files cant be recognized. weird but some files have gone through.
