Martin, if you have any questions, do a search first before creating a thread. If there is no thread related to that question, create a new one. We'd be glad to answer your questions.

question in pscs2 raw. how do i disable the auto function? because everytime i open a raw image, it auto edits everything kaya ang bagal mag open nung images. so what i usually do, is wait for camera raw to open the image, which takes some time, then uncheck the auto boxes then edit to my liking.

thanks!

When you open ACR, there is a small arrow button pointing to the right adjacent to the settings drop down box. Click on it and you will see that "use auto adjustment" is chosen. Un-check to remove auto function.

this used to be my problem before. the solution is a little bit more complex than just hitting the auto-correct checkbox.

first, open a raw file. uncheck all the corrections you dont like (alternately, you may also activate those that you do want, such as the level of the contrast curve or the amount of sharpening). from the drop-down menu via the little arrow on the right, select save as "camera raw default". close the file. from hereon, all the raw files opened in bridge will be free from corrections and should load quicker (assuming you did uncheck all the correction fields [exposure, shadow, brightness, etc.]).

hope it answers your query.
