Aldrin and I are planning an EB here in Hong Kong on Saturday 16th of June. Preliminary place is in Wet Land (you may suggest a better spot)... So, for those of you here in Hong Kong, Shenzen, and Karatig Pook...kindly list your name if you wanna join... I guess, I'll Start the List...

Jojo, this is a better place to have an EB... i'll tell it to aldrin...Mr. Palacios...lumuwas ka na sa HK...hihihih holiday naman ang june 18 and 19 sa china at HK...hihihhi

Kharu and i will be in HK this weekend... i will be teaching in HKIS but we might be able to dropby after... but that might be late in the evening... i will also be teaching on sunday :( monday and tues would relatively be free though... hope we can dropby the EB... anychance you guys know how to get to Macau? or can anyone suggest some sites or events we can visit? thanks!

just a clarificatin. pagbabalik is the title of our group photo exhibit. sa sat ang opening at 4pm.

aldrin: fringe club is at 2 lower albert rd., central

al: if you want to go to macau, you can take the ferry which is in sheung wan.
but if u don't want to go far, the sheung wan area are full of wonderful photo ops

we might pass by the exhibit as well... will monitor this thread...

i attended some sort of a workshop when i shot those. we just walked around the area and shoot shoot shoot. our guide is also the facilitator.

i am not sure about the train going to macau if there's a any. the ferry will only take an hour ride.

i don't think there's a train that goes directly from hk to macau.

oo nga... the only way to macau is by ferry...which cost 550 hk dollars 2 way....and 45 minutes each way...

Anyways... as of now, the Pagbabalik event will start at 4pm... its a photo exhibit in a fringe club in central, hongkong... near lang kwai fong... aldrin can join us on lunch time (1pm to about 2pm) kasi me pasok pa sya... I will still update this thread about the EB...

Just keep on posting your ideas so we can come up to a final agenda...
What I want sana as the agenda in first is "magkakilala mga DPP members" here in HK, shenzen, guandong area... So pag me visitor galing pinas, we can show them where to shop. Para di lang mga misis ang nag sho-shoping dito sa hongkong...hihihihihi. Tayu ding mga mister meron expensive shopping agenda (hahaha a-way ito sa mag asawa :D )
Of course, included in the agenda yung tawanan, kulitan, inuman...etc etc... :Smoke: huli na yung photo shoot oppotunity... hihihii (jok):Dum:

thank you John, Jojo and Ric! someone told me about the train... wasn't sure of it... so i'm glad i brought it up... your inputs have been very helpful... as for the EB i believe Ric has a great idea! hope we can dropby the EB... i'm not really based in HK but i go there pretty often (usually at HK International School)... would someone mind sending me a PM of their digits so when i go there i can get in touch as well... i have a HK number as well...

there were a few But you need a Bigma 800~1000mm lens to really get close to them. I tried my 500mm telescope & the funny thing happened, in the VF the picture is inverted & i can't seem to focus to infinity.

Jo sayang nga eh :( most of my time is spent here in China, maybe next time i'll make it up nalang.

the exhibit pagbabalik is part of the second philippine arts festival here in hk. there also other activities besides this exhibit but i don't have the full schedule.

what time were you there? i was there around 8am-10am. but couldn't stand the heat and i was sweating like those boaters. went home na lang. sayang di tayo nagkita

I was there around 2PM and stayed until the event finished, sayang di tayo nagkita. Super init nga but enjoy naman. Then after the game we went out for more photo shoots. I tried my Sigma 70-300 lens in marco mode.
