CEO Aly invited us to try shooting some sports and action, together w/ tok and taks paler
just wanted to share the shoot we had yesterday. i guess we'll just have to wait for CEO Aly to post the group hug and give us a more detailed info.

don't know much about cycling, well just the fact that most of them costs more than my gear.

most of the shots were at 1/40 ISO 100 F/11-13

uy thanks carlo, we were limited to one shot per biker, i think they did 3 laps, but between that and the number of cyclists, in my case i just tried to shoot those cyclists that went pass me.:) im pretty sure it was the same for the other photogs.

Hmph! Pose ako ng pose sa bawat photographer na nakita ko, pero wala naman gusto kumuha sa akin! Haha!

Wait... my sister pala took some shots of me... I'll have her email them to me. :)

I'm probably not very photogenic, haha! Not to mention, I was slow on the bike (I only had a mountain bike, not a road bike -- so others whizzed past me, though I did pretty okay in the swim). Then, on the run, considering this was my first triathlon, I almost cramped -- I normally do 5K in under half an hour, but I think it took me close to 45 minutes this time (well, after swimming and biking, something's gotta give!).

I think the beginners' triathlon did 3 laps... in the Sprint triathlon, we did 5 laps (approx 25-26 km).

Actually had a couple of friends who joined the race. Wonder how well they did. Hina talaga ng photographer instincts ko, should have gone to to shoot as well.

Yes, What's your race number, Alfred? We were all taking random shots at the Triathlon not knowing who we were shooting, except for Sen. Pia Cayetano.

Race number 54... pero dyahe (i.e., slow-fat-triathlete -- hey, there's a book like that somewhere, heheh)... so email me privately na lang instead of posting it for the world to see...

Or maybe, okay lang... then I'll join the one in October (in Ayala Alabang again), and we can see before-and-after pics for comparison... Let's see if this triathlon thing can really make one thinner, haha!

Well, yeah, that's true... the POOL WATER WAS GREEN!!! Somehow, I'm really believing that was just rainwater, haha! I don't think they ran the filter, and probably no chlorine... so one had to swim faster to get out sooner! Now that's motivation for you!
