I found a shop at Ngee Ann (I hope I spelled that correctly) in Singapore that sold simple but beautiful scrapbooks. The covers are all hardbound with a choice of different colored fabrics.

The pages were acid free and were either black or white. The album was bound together on the inside by either a ringbinder or a spiral wire.

I bought a couple of albums for myself. I'll fill them up with photos and see how my photos look in this album. I'll probably get a few more when I go back to Singapore in July.

I saw a sample used as a wedding album. The photos used were great. But they looked even better presentation-wise when viewed mounted in the album.

do you know where i can buy photo albums here in the phils? by the way.. is it bad to store photographs in a box? i will have to print loads of photographs and i'm having troubles on how to store em..

ms. ria i think i saw scrapbooks/photo albums at "simple joys" at SM malls. they have these beaded stuff with lace or ribbons...both in boxes or albums...they're nice and so cute..their scrapbooks comes also in hardbound and pages are made with nice fabric too.

It is bad to store photos in a box because no one will be able to enjoy viewing the images :D

You could try looking at the folios sold at Sketchbooks. The albums sold at Simple Joy does look good. Just make sure that whatever you purchase, acid free materials for the album and mounting are used.

I think the store's called Book Binders. I used to buy things there when I studied in Singapore for a few months. :) Their products are really nice - quite pricey but really worth it. :)

Yup. I did get it at Bookbinders. Their was only one guy inside the store. Very corteous and helpful.
