Hi guys, im a newbie in photography. And i just recently bought an S5200. I know it's not an SLR, but i think a dSLR is a lil bit too expensive for a beginner like me... and i'm not really into developing films. But this S5200 has manual options for it's ISO and aperture. So, do you think this cam is good enough for me to learn the basics of an SLR? any comments on this?

Hi Anthony,
The S5600 is an adequate camera. It gives you good colors and you can even use the digital zoom to get closer shots of distant objects, like the moon. Remember to use a sturdy tripod or support when you do that.
If you need to know more about Finepix cameras, please let me know. I have been using them for quite sometime and am very satisfied with the results.
Happy shooting.
