i'm not sure if this topic was brought up already. i was wondering if any of our great moderators are or will be conducting photoshop workshops for amateur photographers like me who know some basic photoshop but want to learn more advanced techniques to enhance our photos.

Im tired of learning things through the internet :) I need some non-virtual assistance :Grin:

my certification was earned by using the photoshop on an everyday basis for the past years. it's highly highly technical. therefore a basic photoshop workshop will not be enough for certification.

please make it after office hours or on a saturday. :)

We are finalizing negotiations with a computer company to provide all the computers for the classes. This hopefully happens soon and are targeting October. Unless you all want to bring your own lap tops?:)

i think bringing our own laptops won't be a problem.

if we bring our own laptops. will we be able to calibrate them so that we will all be looking at the same colors?

sama din ako. bringing our own laptops is ok. as long as there are enough extension cords to keep the laptops pluggd in hhehe.

Yessss!!! i use photoshop just for cropping and brightness and contrast, hehehe, kse yun lang ang alam ko, i still dont know the power of PS.

For the seminar, you should bring your own lap top if you have one. That is a prerequisite. We will calibrate your monitor and get you on the right track to color management.

You'll also learn that good Photoshop technique will avoid using Brightness and Contrast.:)

Parc Cruz and Borj Meneses will be conducting a Part 2 of their very successful workshop held last March 10 on April 7 at Memento Creative Images Photography Studio. This is a non-textbook approach to post processing your images the Parc and Borj way. There are 15 slots available and currently, all are filled up, however, there may be slots vacated once the workshop date nears. PM me if you're interested to be on the waiting list. :)
