Hi Dino... I also have an eneloop (Sanyo) batteries....but I charge it with my 1 hour Energizer charger...and it charges only within 1 hour...right on the dot!!!:)
Roro Fernandez 05-23-2007, 09:48 AM Hi dino, you must have got the 6-8 hour charger of Sanyo. You can use third party fast charges if you want. Does not need to be Sanyo branded charger also :)

Jeff, how much is the charger?
Jeff Lim 05-23-2007, 05:55 PM I got it for 4,455.00. It can charge 8 batteries at the same time, with LCD to indicate charge status.
Aris Guerrero 05-23-2007, 07:11 PM some say that it's available in ykl stores.
what im looking for now is the inexpensive (but almost same) mh-c800s, almost the same as the mh-c801d, 8-batt charger with refresh/discharge function, sans the 1-hour charging.
review here:
http://www.digitaldingus.com/reviews/maha/mhc800s/index.php
Aris Guerrero 05-23-2007, 07:15 PM the mh-c800s is cheaper. around us$55. vs PhP4500 for the c801d (same except the fast 1-hr charge)
it's just not available locally. yet.

Bobby Gonzalez 05-24-2007, 01:38 PM Are we still talking about Eneloop batteries and chargers? If not, maybe the mods should split off the off-topic messages into a new thread.

Alhtough I got a different model (Maha C9000 charger), if its any indication the shipping SGD18.24 (Fedex 1-3 days).

dindin_lagdameo 05-24-2007, 07:10 PM @Bobby
Thanks a lot... is it 2700mah?
Bobby Gonzalez 05-24-2007, 07:32 PM @Bobby
Thanks a lot... is it 2700mah?
Sanyo Eneloop AA batteries are 2000mAh. But they hold their charge much longer than even Sanyo's own 2700mAh AA batteries. In fact, you can start using Eneloop batteries right after you open the package because they are already charged (you don't need to charge them before using them). That shows you that these batteries can really hold their charge for a long time.
dindin_lagdameo 05-24-2007, 07:47 PM Wow, now I really want some of those.
Joseph Leh 05-24-2007, 09:03 PM You might want to try out buying the eneloops in hidalgo. Got mine from Watson's for 580 bucks - 4pcs already. The Ansmann MaxE was around 720 from Mayer. Bought mine last week of March.

renzo_sen 05-30-2007, 11:26 PM There is a new Sanyo fexible ENELOOP (http://www.eneloop.info/home_en.html)USB charger.
Hope this is also available in Manila soon.
alistaire_ong 06-01-2007, 08:49 PM just bought eneloop batteries w/charger set this evening at infomax.. got it for 1500. tomorrow i'll be able to test the batteries already. :)
renzo_sen 06-02-2007, 12:09 AM Any pro photographers using this battery brand in their shoots?
How does it fare compared to other brands?
Alvin Agustin 06-02-2007, 07:04 AM I was at hidalgo yesterday looking for rechargeable batteries for my flash unit. Looked at the energizers and ansmann batteries but decided to get the Sanyo 2000 mAh AA Eneloops. I got it from Watsons for P140 each.
The Sanyo NC-MQNO4E slow charger came with 2pcs AA eneloops already was P750. It says on the label insert that this charger is for 2000 mAh batteries only. But from the reviews I've read, the 2000 mAh batteries fare better even against the higher rated 2700 mAh ones.
I think there is a fast charger model made by sanyo (MDR03) and energizer but were more expensive. I think I'll get some more when I go back to Quiapo!
renzo_sen 06-06-2007, 10:00 PM Eneloop also has adapters to Size C and D.
One can use the AA sizes and use the adapters. Great idea!
One doesn't have to buy and keep medium and large batteries.

crisbrigoli 10-01-2007, 10:07 PM hi. i have an old gp powerbank charger. was wondering if i could charge my eneloops with this.
has anyone tried this? thanks.
crisbrigoli 10-01-2007, 10:10 PM i was able to get one of these from tpc. however, it can only charge 2 batteries. i'm planning to buy a usb ac adapter for this. what do you guys think? is this a wise move (i.e., using a usb ac adapter)?
thanks again.
There is a new Sanyo fexible ENELOOP (http://www.eneloop.info/home_en.html)USB charger.
Hope this is also available in Manila soon.
Raffy Crucillo 10-02-2007, 08:31 AM The Sanyo NC-MQNO4E slow charger came with 2pcs AA eneloops already was P750. It says on the label insert that this charger is for 2000 mAh batteries only. But from the reviews I've read, the 2000 mAh batteries fare better even against the higher rated 2700 mAh ones.
In the end, it all boils down to the battery's engineering / design. :)
Raffy Crucillo 10-02-2007, 08:32 AM can you charge the eneloops using the maha charger?
This is my setup right now. Works well with me. :)
olivermaddela 07-31-2010, 11:11 AM I purchased sanyo charger (2hrs) with free 2 eneloop batteries 2000mAh for 1300php, and bought another 2pcs of eneloop batteries for 300php only total of 1600php at Henry's in Hidalgo. its more wise rather that buying 4pcs eneloop with free charger. the charger is for 6 hrs! cost 1800..

for me i'd rather buy the 4pc battery with the charger. you get to charge it all at the same time so you can use it all at once. the drawback of your purchase would be since you only get to charge 2pc at a time you must wait for it to finish first before you can charge another set of batteries again (or you have a spare charger to do the job, i dont know).
and also, you'd better off not using fast chargers as they wear out batteries easily. the longer the batteries to be in full charge mode, say 4-6 hours, the better.
Marlon Adsuara 08-28-2010, 08:16 AM Guys, I bought eneloop batteries yesterday (without charger). 2000 mah Nimh
1. Indicated in the packaging is: "ready to use rechargeable battery"
does it mean I can use it without charging for first time use? is it pre-charged already?
2.. I have an existing charger (energizer) for my energizer batteries (2450 Mah). Can I use this charger for my eneloop which is 2000 mah only?
TIA

thanks a lot Ben... I will drain it before charging it for the first time. now I know...
btw, is it considered fully charged? When we say factory charge, it means fully charged also? thanks!
yohandelacruz 08-28-2010, 09:57 AM Not sure if this has been shared here already, but about chargers, better if you can find a "Smart" one as opposed to a a Dumb charger.
How to tell a smart from a dumb charger (http://magos-biologis.blogspot.com/2009/12/smart-versus-dumb-cahrgers.html)

factory charged labeled batts differ from ready to use batts...
meaning factory charged batt have been charged for quality control purposes...
in the other hand, ready to use batts are charged for... well.. to be used straight out-of-the-box...

good afternoon guys/gals .
i was reading this thread and i thought this was a new one. anyway, there is a store at the farthest end of raon in quiapo (going to ongpin/near the old firestation. its called ELFOH. they only sell rechargeable batteries -gp,sanyo,eneloops, and i think ansmann too plus various charger - slow and fast, for nicad, nmh, and universal (both) in various mah for different usage -radios,flashlight,cameras,rtc. i believe they also have battereies for videocams as our office and friends were able to source sustitute batteries for their video cam.
re you question on the compatibility of your charger for eneloops perhaps you canm go there bring the charger. the manager is customer friendly.
i believe panasonic now owns sanyo (sanyo and eneloop) and a new and verry efficient camera battery is expected to come out soon.
2000mah better than 2700mah ?? - i believe this is true as the sony 2000 is in the same situation also (2000 retains charge better thanm 2700)
for your info and for those planning to go to hidalgo, try elfoh as their prices are lower.
jamesMABAET 05-30-2011, 08:39 PM been using eneloops batteries for my flash, the only thing that i regret is my charger that i bought before buying eneloop, it a akira charger and it sucks bigtime. . . need to adjust batteries if after 1 hour the charger led indicates still 1 ot of three where the standard time for charging 2000mah is just two hours only. . .
jopetpapa 06-20-2011, 09:26 PM hi guys,is there anybody here uses a sanyo 2700 with eco charger?i just wanna know if this is ok co'z i bought 1 for me...
