Question guys, what wireless trigger should i use on my Nikon D60 to fire Speedlites SB-600? i'll be needing it soon before July14...

i ended up with this decision after making comparison on which lens will i get for my D60: a 50mm 1.4 or a 85mm 1.8, and seeing their specs, they will not work on my D60. i am happy with my Tamron 28-75mm ƒ2.8 lens.

so, lighting is what i need for the wedding shoot in Calaruega.

so, i'm planning to get a SB-600 and a wireless trigger, what can you suggest? many thanks in advanced.

a lot of cheap Chinese branded triggers are available out there like:

Phottix PT-04
YungNuo CTR-301P
YungNuo RF-602
YungNuo YN04-II

all of them will work with your D60 and SB600 (but one PT-04 I've used causes some short with the hot shoe contacts with the SB600 when locked; however, you can't risk using it unlocked!)

i was thinking of trying a Nissin speedlight, how is it? performance during a continuous burst if you are using 2 flash units?

If getting a Nissin Di622, make sure sure it's firmware updated for it to work with wireless triggers. It's not really an absolute performer but it works great for me.

continuous burst would of course depend on what power you are using. At 1/1 i think recycle time of this Di622 is 4 secs. but it can definitely keep up with the SB's, aside from the fact that the Di622 is much powerful than the SB600 (its power is comparable to SB800).

so, i should try this Nissin. plus the wireless trigger.
