Hi Guys... Im planning to buy a good inexpensive ND filters for my 18-200 mm VR. Can U suggest what brand is good? How many F stops of ND filters do I need? Do I need to buy them all? My genre is more on landscapes and portraits. Thanks in advance:)

good inexpensive sounds like oxymoron to me...
sorry, can't help you here. i'm using B+W ND 4X and never tried any other
brands, so i can't tell if it's good or better, got nothing to compare it with...

Bro where did you get your B+W ND filter? Do we have that locally? Prefereably in Manila (I know you're based in Cebu), thanks:)

Not based in the Phils at the moment - but you might want to check if anyone sells Lee Filters out there.

A bit pricey - but really good value for money IMO. Because you can get one of their larger Graduated ND square filters, and for most lenses, you can actually slide the filter all the way down, and you get an ND filter too. So basically you have a GND and ND all in one filter.

Not only would it save space in your bag, but that's money well spent IMO. Especially since you mention you do landscapes.

The Hoya filters, I don't believe, are coated, so fact should save you a little bit of money. Aside from that, try Tiffen.

hi diego. i got myself ND8 and ND4. i got it just in case i needed a longer exposure for my landscape shots. as for grad NDs... if you can source it locally, so much the better. island has been out of stock for quite some time. i don't know who else sells it here.

the brand i got was hoya.

hi diego,

it depends on the shooting situation. i personally use an ND filter for most of my landscapes. i recommend that you carry both.
