Ground Floor Gallery
AYALA MUSEUM

This traveling exhibition presents a part of French history, as perceived by such photographers as Henri Cartier-Bresson, Jean Auvigne, Marc Riboud, Robert Doisneau, André Kertesz, and Etienne Atget. Composed of 86 clichés (stereotypes or metal printing plates), the photographs in the exhibition come from five renowned public collections in Paris: la Bibliothèque Historique de la Ville de Paris, le musée Carnavalet, le musée d'Art moderne, la Maison Européenne de la Photographie, and le Fonds municipal d'Art contemporain.

Objectif Paris is presented by Alliance Francaise de Manille and the French Embassy in the Philippines.

This is an interesting exhibit, I'm a fan of André Kertesz! It could have been perfect for me to see it, if I went home..sigh...

Thanks for sharing Tammy!

Sana madaming makadalo, lalo na ang mga recent na naadik sa digital photography, dahil base lang sa aking obserbasyon, labis na kulang sa atin ang kamalayan sa classic photography, at ang history na rin nito.

We were supposed to attend last night's opening but because of Issue 12 final touches, could not do it.

Heard there are original prints of Bresson there so that alone would make the visit worthwhile. Wonder if Doisneau's Kiss is also there.
